TUESDAY TALK - February 24, 2015

We began a new series on Tuesday nights. It is a 6 week series focused on building the core "Teams" of the Bloomington-Normal campus. Previously, we had discussed the core "Building Blocks" which are the heart of our new campus, but these teams are the implementations of that vision.

A family team focuses like Jesus focused…

Matthew 19:13 Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people, 14 but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” 15 And he laid his hands on them and went away.

Nursery
Preschool
Grade-school
Teens (Revolution)
College (when applicable to the city)

These are all great training grounds for ministry!

KEY THOUGHTS

1. The KINGDOM belongs to our children
2. They are the church NOW, not tomorrow
3. Family ministry will play a KEY ROLE in a new church in the Bloomington-Normal community.
