The Pauls
1:1 ~ God's called out messengers
incredible conversion = incredible mission "to whom much is given much is required"
Not just guys like Adam

The Timothies
1:1 ~ church planters (Acts 15, 1Timothy 1 and 4)
appointer of elders, pastor at Ephesus, paved the way usually for Paul's ministry
not just the Ryans

The Epaphrases
1:7 ~ Pastors (Col 4:12 and Philemon 1)
raised up local leader, much loved coworker, brought Colosse the good news
not just the Jeffs and Corries

Brothers and Sisters
1:2 ~ Faithful followers (holy people)
those just trying to live the life of a Jesus follower: YOU!
Pauls prayers focus on the entire community (1:3-12) whether they be pastors, prophets, church planters, leaders, evangelists, teachers, etc... (1) sharing the life changing gospel, (2)having a love for others that produces a good fruit life, (3)share the story and life as light

RECOGNIZE CHURCH: The need for total community involvement in sharing the story of Jesus!
